What is the youngest age
SwimFin is suitable for ?

SwimFin was designed for the average 3 year old.
We have plenty of testimonials from parents and teachers of 2 year olds.
We know for a fact the youngest who is able to use SwimFin unaided is 15 months.
We strongly recommend that if you choose to use SwimFin then please assist your child in the early stages until he/she can work out what is happening for themselves.
Once they able to counter act the effects by themselves then they will know instinctively what they has to do then hopefully the freedom and fun will start.
Some kids pick this up instantly but the younger ones and less confident may take a little longer.
There are no rules on how they use it, there should be a natural progression when they will tell you to let go.

instruction manual available ?
NO ! Once you understand the basics on SwimFin then its up
to the teacher/parent to work with it to suit each user.
SwimFin works on all ages and abilities so how it works for one child of a particular age and ability is totally different for a child of a different age & ability.
Working with children and water is not an exact science, how it works on a confident 3 yr old is totally different to a timid 3 yr old and the same can be said for better swimmers.

How should SwimFin be fitted ?
Ideally the higher up the back the better, if it is worn too
low down it may tip the user forward. As a guide line we
suggest the top strap fits across the nipple area.
Can I put it on
the chest ?
No, No Definitely NO.
If you did this it would make regaining to a standing or upright position difficult for the little swimmers.

The straps are
to big, what can I do ?
If you pinch the hoop part of the Velcro together, i.e.,
shorten the length of the strap, you can then attach it to
the hook part of the Velcro in the normal way.
Do the straps come supplied ?
Yes, with standard size which fit the average child.
The straps are too small what can I do ?
Since more and more adults/bigger kids are using SwimFin we
now manufacture larger straps, these are available to buy on
line
Are there any replacement straps
We sell the standard and large replacement straps on line,
each set comes in black with colour coordinated logo.
